Old Women Support Project: Caring for the Forgotten

In the remote villages of Bangladesh, many elderly women live alone, abandoned by family or left without support. These women often struggle with basic needs β€” food, shelter, and medical care. One such woman, Kurmoti Tripura, lives in a small hillside village where roads are rough, healthcare is distant, and daily survival is a challenge.

Kurmoti has no family to care for her. She spends her days collecting firewood, cooking small meals, and praying quietly, hoping for someone to notice her plight. Her story is not unique; countless elderly women in remote areas face the same loneliness, hunger, and vulnerability.

The Old Women Support Project was created to bring hope, care, and dignity to these forgotten members of our communities. Through this program, we provide:

  • Monthly financial support for food, clothing, and medicine

  • Basic medical care and check-ups

  • Spiritual care and companionship

  • Assistance with daily needs

To continue this vital work and reach more elderly women like Kurmoti, the project requires $2,000 per month. This funding ensures consistent, reliable support and transforms lives in tangible ways.

β€œDo not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.” β€” Hebrews 13:2

Your support can give elderly women a sense of belonging, restore their dignity, and provide them with comfort and care in their later years. By partnering with us, you help bring love and hope to those who have been forgotten by society.
